Restaurant Technology professional
Heather has been working in the hospitality industry for most of her professional career. She spent her early years catering to private events and developing her food and wine knowledge. After years of experience in executing events, she landed a position as an Events and Catering Manager at Holiday Inn Itasca. This gave her experience in taking her client’s vision of their perfect events and organizing everything from decor to their perfect meal. With this experience, she left the hotel world to create the private events and catering program for Fujimura Hospitality, a company that owns and manages 5 restaurants throughout the city. Only after one year in this position, Heather’s skills landed her the position as the General Manager and Events Director for Heineken Pub97, one of the restaurants within Fujimura Hospitality. She spent two years in this role, interviewing, training, and managing the staff while building a successful events business worth $250,000 in revenue. Fujimura Hospitality noticed her talents once again, and promoted her to Operations and Events Director, for the entire restaurant group, where she focused on training GMs, creating fun and safe work environments, onboarding all staff, payroll, and benefits management while maintaining planning all events at Pub97. After switching the point of sale system at Arami to Toast, she love the product so much and what they were trying to achieve that she applied for a position and is now a Territory Account Executive for Toast, where she helps restaurants become successful through upgrading their restaurant technology.
